The challenge

The nurse pipeline into Germany runs through language certification first, and there was no school built specifically around that path, so students defaulted to generic German courses that didn't map to what German employers actually required. The harder problem came later: a school built for one narrow audience had to become a platform anyone learning German could use, without throwing away what made it work for nurses.

The approach

• Won the first customers and investors, and built the WordPress site and the acquisition funnel
• Grew it out from a nurse-focused school into an open platform for general German, A1 to C1, built from real classroom material rather than generic course content
• Wired exam prep for telc, Goethe-Zertifikat, TestDaF and DTZ to run in symbiosis with Pflegeplace, so the recruitment side and the learning side feed each other
